Magic, your products are just magic!
In todays world of poor quality ethanol diluted fuel your products (Mechanic in a Bottle and Ethanol Shield) are permanent fixtures in my garage. I just had a 2 cycle leaf blower back from the shop and it still didn't run quite right. No problem, treating the fuel with Mechanic in a Bottle made it run like new. When low quality gas is a culprit, Mechanic in a Bottle is a life saver. When I store my implements during their off season Ethanol shield is the best! Far better than any of its competitors. In fact your products are in a class by themselves, so they don't have competitors.
I have used your products on my John Deere, Echo and Ryobi equipment and it is always in my garage!
Thanks again for making such great products .
MY 2011 Victory Vegas Jackpot is nearly 5 years old and has 39,800 miles on it. Recently, it was starting hard both when cold and restarts soon after riding and shutting down. Also, the idle seemed off and I noticed more vibration. I replaced the spark plugs, cleaned and recharged the air filter, changed the oil & filter and replaced the original battery with a new one and cleaned the terminal connections and saw no improvement. I thought I'd have to bring it in and have it thoroughly checked out and perhaps have Mission Motorsports, Irvine, CA go completely through the fuel system. The service manager there suggested trying a fuel system cleaner since CA fuels have ethanol. He said they carry a fuel injector cleaner by Yamaha which I considered. My next stop was Orange County Harley-Davidson, Irvine, CA and I asked the parts department what they recommended and he showed me B3C Fuel Solutions and said the company representative did a demonstration and showed how clean it burned. I bought a bottle and using the guidelines began adding it each time I topped off my 4.5 gallon tank. I noticed an improvement as soon as I started going through the first tankful. Now that I've gone through 3 tankfuls. The cold and warm starts are back to normal...fires right up. Idling is again even and smooth. The excessive engine vibration is gone and the bike seems to have more power. Also, the "pinging" when accelerating in too high a gear is almost none existent now. Finally, the top engine valve train noise (twin overhead cams with 4 valves per cylinder) is far less noisy and sounds "well oiled". Beyond all these improvements, I feel reassured that the tank and fuel system is protected from the damage of 10% ethanol based gasoline. What an amazing product! I've added it to my 2001 PT Cruiser and my wife's 2013 Hyundai Accent and have passed the word on to everyone I know who rides a motorcycle or drives a car.
I have a STIHL commercial grade weed trimmer that has been in storage for two years. I tried to get it to start to no avail. I knew I was going to have to take it to the dealer and pay $100 to get it fixed.
Not wanting to take this step, I went online and looked for another solution. I came across Mechanic In A Bottle and started reading about it. When I saw it was only $6 at my local Home Depot, I quit reading and went buying. AMAZING I TELL YOU!!!
I put the liquid in, pulled a couple of times with the throttle pushed, pumped the primer bulb a few times, pulled a couple more times, and let it sit. I got impatient and tried in 10 mins instead of waiting the 15 like it says on the bottle. IT STARTED!!! It kept running; so, I went ahead and did my whole yard right then and there after I filled the trimmer up with gas. I am SHOCKED! You guys easily saved me $94 and have me for life on all my outdoor power equipment! I can't thank you all enough!!! Keep up the great work!!!
Hi, just tried your mechanic-in-a-bottle on a NOS Briggs and Stratton Vanguard 9hp, that had been demonstrated, then stored for almost twenty years with half a tank and a carb full of gasoline... I had cleaned much of the syrup and gum out before I got your product, but it made the final steps much easier! The engine now runs like a champ.
My lawn mower would not start after sitting outside this winter. I thought I would have to pull off the carb and clean it. As a last resort I put your MIB in the tank, let it sit overnight and put some starting fluid in the carb to see what would happen. Within 3 pulls my mower started up and ran beautifully. I just can't get over how well your product works. Thank you and keep up the good work. Praise the Lord!
I ran across your product and bought it for a 1980 Goldwing I purchased but could not get to keep running. I used MIB, let sit overnight as per the instructions. This morning I put the key in, pulled the choke, pressed the starter button and it started right up! Your product ROCKS!
I was handed a bottle of MIB when I bought a used riding mower with old fuel in it and was told to use it before replacing carburetor, I thought it was some sort of a hoax, really. I said ok what do I have to lose? I am here to tell you 3 saved carburetors later, I swear by this stuff!! It has actually saved me from buying 3 new carburetors @ 125- 175 each, for 3 different riders! $ 5 bucks was well worth it! thank you so , so much!
I have RT65 Cub Cadet rear tinned tiller, and I left the gas in the tank to long and when I cranked it up it would just lope. I call Cub Cadet authorized warranty and told them the problem and was informed that this was not covered in the warranty. I was in Hattiesburg, MS at the Home Depot and there was a stand of your product and I purchased a bottle. This stuff really works, I put it in my tiller and it is running fine now. This little bottle save me about 150.00 for someone to clean the carburetor. I believe in this product. Thanks, David
Like your product poured both bottles in tank ethanol shield and mechanic in a bottle in my motorcycle tank i get phase seperation after rainy cold weather that lock up my carbs and i usually have to drain tank remove and blow out carbs add fresh fuel. your product saved me time and i have great throttle response. will be adding ethanol shield regularly
I was having carburetor issues with my boat. I carried it to a repair shop and they gave me an estimate of $250.00 to go through the carb on my 50hp Mercury outboard. I purchased a bottle of Mechanic In A Bottle and added it to some fresh fuel and started my boat so that the engine would run and get this inside the carb. I let the boat set for a day and when I started it again it ran and opened up with no problems. I fixed this for less that $8.00. Its been 3 weeks and I've used this boat about 10 times since this and no problems what so ever. I have purchased a case of this stuff and will be adding some every fill up. My sons dirtbike was acting up as well and once again this product to the rescue. Fixed that as well. AWESOME PRODUCT !!! Thank You !
